I have been employed in the computer field for about
10 years. In
addition to my experience, I attended
Naugatuck Valley Community
College in Waterbury, CT to
obtain my Associates in Science degree in Computer
Information Systems Technology. I was also awarded
Bachelor
in Science at American InterContinental
University Online in Computer Information Systems
Technology. I have also obtained the A+, Network+,
and Security+ certifications through CompTIA.
Furthermore, I have returned to Naugatuck Valley
Community College to continue my education in
Human Services & Mental Health, then continue to work
towards a Masters in Social Work (MSW), and to become a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Prior to meeting George and Mary Porter of The No Vet
Left Behind, Inc.
my understanding of the calamities in
which veterans suffered, was limited.
Unfortunately, many of our veterans are homeless and are
having to live in constant discomfort.

When I went to my first "Stand Down" on December 10, 2010,
I was amazed at the commitment exhibit in helping our veterans.
I am happy that I have taken on this voluntary position to work
on this project with George and Mary,
after seeing the courageousness of our veterans in spite of
their circumstances.
It has been an honor and privilege to build and maintain this website for an
organization that is sensitive to the needs of these
individuals; an organization of integrity which provides support
to ensure that our veterans have shelter, clothing, food, and
benefits. George and Mary have done a wonderful job
making all this happen, and I am please to be a part of this
cause.
